An exclusive Placement Cell has been established in the College and a senior faculty member as the Head, Training & Placements coordinates its activities. This cell works in close coordination with the Director of Training and Placements of Aurora Consortium. The cell has already compiled profiles of students with their varied strengths with an aim to place them appropriately in the employment bracket in the forthcoming placement drives.
The Placement Cell frequently conducts workshops to train students in technical skills, leadership, numerical aptitude, vocabulary, listening and speaking skills. Such workshops help to familiarize students with real-time scenarios.
The placement activity in an undergraduate college has a significant relevance at a time when parents are very concerned about their children's career and future as the so called professional courses are losing their sheen. Aurora has attempted to lead them to the light through the darkness and reassuring the parents that we are here to take care of their children and their future.
This, we are able to do with the help of placement and training division of Aurora Group. The placement and training division takes full responsibility in organizing the database of students and undertaking exhaustive competency mapping exercises, and thus helping students to be placed in prestigious companies with best pay packages. Major B. Bhikshapathy, Professor in the Dept. of ECE, is currently the Head, Training & Placements of our College.
