As always ASTI has come out with one of the most innovative methodologies of rating the students in their overall development of the college and rates them on a number of dimensions like social behaviour, classroom involvement, communication skills (inclusive of reading, writing, speaking and listening skills), discipline & regularity, subject knowledge and practical skills. The rating of the student is done with the help of the most advanced psychometric instruments apart from the on-line tests and scientific observatory mechanisms. A detailed overall performance record of each student is handed over to them when they leave the college.
The courses at ASTI are supported with many extra curricular activities that aim at developing the ability to study, enjoy and appreciate the course. Students develop competence in using spoken, written skills and electronic media to communicate effectively in both formal and informal settings with colleagues, technical audience and the general public by using current techniques, skills and tools necessary for computing practice at a level appropriate for successful entry into the workplace.
