Prof. Koyatan Mangalmpalli Ravindran Nambiar - Professor
He completed his MSc in Plant Genetics from Vikram University, Ujjain and started his career as a programme in-charge in Plant Genetics at Post Graduate Centre, Vidisha, Bhopal. He had an active research program in Cytogenetic in Triticale's (Rye-Wheat) hybrid.
He has 5 years research experience in Genetics of Cyanobacteria at University of Hyderabad from 1983-1989 as a Teacher Fellow, UGC. He has travelled extensively all over India presenting papers and attending workshops both national and international, notably International congress of Genetics 1984 at New Delhi and International congress of Biotechnology, New Delhi 1985. He Joined Aurora Degree and PG College in 1985 as Head of Department of Genetics. He is a Fellow of Indian Society of Genetics and Society of Breeding Researches in Asia and Oceania and life member of Indian Science Congress. Prof. Nambiar stood fourth in this year's student feedback.
Madhavi Lata Bolluru - Sr. Assistant Professor
She joined the Department in 2004 and has 2 years of industry experience. She presented a poster at the international Symposium on Frontiers in Genetics and Biotechnology in January 2006 organized by Department of Genetics Osmania University. She was also invited to participate on the Indo- Australian Conference in Biotechnology 6-8 March 2006 at CDFD Hyderabad. She attended a training programme at CCMB sponsored by Dr. L S Shashidhara, CCMB in Drosophila. She also attended a refresher course at University of Hyderabad in 2007. She is an active member of Indian Science Congress, Indian Society of Human Genetics and Indian Society of Cell Biology.
